Unisex denim is the next capsule collection from fast-fashion giant H&M
H&M isn’t exactly a stranger to designer collaborations and exclusive collections, they certainly know how to keep us anxiously anticipating the next sell-out spectacle. With its first ever drop of a menswear Studio collection and the announcement of its Spring Icons collaboration with The Weeknd already this year, all eyes are on the fast fashion giant to see what it will produce next.
In comes Denim United – H&M’s new unisex collection – that will make the well known double denim disaster a thing of the past. Borrowing materials from both menswear and womenswear, the unisex collection blurs borders between his and hers clothing and is also made from sustainable materials. What more could we ask for?
“It is very natural to launch a unisex collection as fashion is constantly evolving and intersecting and today we see there are no boundaries in democratic style” a spokesperson for H&M told HypeBeast. “Fashion should always be inclusive.”
The casual collection spans from acid wash denim shirts and laid back dungarees, to neutral basics, including a blush pink knitted sweater – one for the boys to flaunt – and a grey slouchy hoodie, ideal pairings with classic denim pieces.
Denim United will be available at H&M online from March 23. But beware: you might catch your other half wearing the same shirt.
