The new shift: goodbye clean girl

The anti-clean girl aesthetic is back

With the rising popularity of working out and eating well that took over during the pandemic came a new trend: the ‘clean girl’. The ‘clean girl’ is the good and responsible older sister of heroin chic – she takes pride in her glowing skin and pilates class, with no interest in partying. Well, welcome back the anti-clean girl, because she’s back now. Her makeup is dark, her clothes second-hand and her music taste too underground for you.
