Sylvia Lea launches new collection

The womenswear brand launches in time for the Christmas festivities with an extra 20% off for Black Friday

Womenswear brand Sylvia Lea has launched a new collection of formal dresses perfect for the Christmas party season. The brand claims to be “inspired by European chic”, and aims to “bring sophistication and grace” to women’s wardrobes. With Black Friday this weekend, Sylvia Lea has also announced a 20% discount on its website lasting for a week.

The new collection, The Garden Party, is comprised of three dresses and two co-ord pieces. The beauty of the pieces was captured in a photoshoot, shot by photographer Oenone Hedley.  The brand has posted a TikTok capturing behind-the-scenes footage and styling of the models.

Sylvia Lea, an e-commerce brand, was launched in June 2022 and has since released two collections, The Entrance and The Garden Party collection. Each collection consists of both formal dresses and two pieces. The brand holds itself high on its packaging, with it all made from recycled materials which are 100% compostable. So not only will you look good in the dresses but you will feel good knowing this.

Each dress is named after something meaningful to the brand. The Hastings dress was inspired by a place in Australia where the founder went to school, and the Bernadette dress was dedicated to her grandmother.

Sylvia Lea’s photoshoot for its new collection consisted of creative direction and styling by Madison Taylor. Photography by Oenone Hedley, and modelled by Dani Josette and Alexsandra Topuria.
