Supermodel, mother and business woman, what can't she do?
The new Lon Dunn and Missguided collection captivates the spirit of female empowerment, celebrating the active but stylish woman. Dunn states in the campaign that, “female empowerment means not tearing each other down, supporting each other”, something which truly resinates in every piece.
The campaign features 96 pieces including a mixture of athleisure and streetwear complete with velour and mesh material heaven. ‘You owe it to yourself, set the world on fire’ tattooed across her arm became the mantra driving the collection forward.
The models, hand-picked by Dunn include Braina Laviena, Leomie Anderson, Rina Sawayama, Georgie Palmer and Rainy Milo. The fiery girl squad represent the subtle yet effective message of the campaign, Dunn told Refinery29: “[The campaign] is all about empowerment and being the women that you want to be. So, it is important to have a collective of girls that reflect that and who were different and unique from each other”.
